Xe is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to evolve its money transfer platform for corporate and consumer customers. The role works across backend systems, cloud infrastructure, and AI developer tools, with emphasis on backend design, collaboration with front-end and product teams, technical direction, architecture, prototyping, code quality, performance, scalability, reliability, mentoring, and agile delivery.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of professional backend or full-stack engineering experience. Strong backend development skills and experience working with design teams. Essential C# .NET experience. Proven track record building RESTful APIs and distributed systems. Strong understanding of AWS including serverless architecture, data structures, algorithms, performance optimization, communication skills, and ability to adopt new technologies including AI-powered developer tools. Nice to have: Vue3.js, AI-assisted development tools, GitHub CI/CD, fintech or payment systems, and strong SQL skills.
