Build and ship analytical production systems for TRM Labs' blockchain-intelligence products, supporting investigations, attribution and risk-category workflows. Work closely with subject-matter experts and engineers, design algorithms with measurable outcomes, participate in production ownership and iterate quickly on complex financial-crime problems.
Quantitative background such as computer science, statistics, engineering, economics or physics; strong problem-solving, hypothesis formation and comfort with ambiguity; interest in blockchain, fraud, AML or cybercrime; 6+ years in an analytical role; SQL, Python and AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code; distributed-data systems such as Spark, BigQuery and Airflow plus production software practices; strong asynchronous communication and remote ownership; at least four hours of overlap with Pacific Time business hours. Machine learning, crypto, financial-crime or financial-institution experience is advantageous.
