Tenchi Security is hiring a Backend / Data Software Engineer to bridge core backend application development and data infrastructure for its Third-Party Cyber Risk Management SaaS solution. The role includes designing and building robust backend services, shaping data ingestion, processing, and storage, maintaining scalable high-performance Python backend services and APIs, architecting and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines with PySpark, containerizing applications and data jobs, designing relational database schemas, optimizing SQL queries, and collaborating with product, analytics, and data science teams to deliver production-ready software solutions.
Requisitos
Strong Python proficiency for clean, testable, efficient production code using frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask or standard library concurrency; advanced SQL knowledge including joins, window functions, query optimization, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL; hands-on PySpark experience for distributed data processing and large-scale data manipulation; Docker and Docker Compose experience for local or production deployments; software engineering best practices including git, CI/CD, code reviews, and unit and integration tests. Nice-to-have experience includes Apache Iceberg, AWS S3 or S3 Tables, AWS Glue, and AWS Step Functions.
