Foundational engineering role building a kids’ violin learning app, focused on audio analysis, DSP, ML, pitch/tempo/rhythm detection, MusicXML-to-audio alignment, real-time feedback, model deployment, experiment design, observability, and collaboration across React/Next, FastAPI, DevOps, UX, and QA teams.
Requirements include MSc/PhD or equivalent experience in CS, EE, acoustics or music tech, strong DSP and audio/music analysis skills, Python plus C/C++, ML frameworks and model deployment, cloud/container pipelines, music theory knowledge, agile collaboration, and ideally music tech, MIR, real-time audio or MusicXML experience.
