Supabase is hiring a Software Engineer in Go for Auth, one of the most popular products in the Supabase stack. The role focuses on building and maintaining Auth features, owning the performance, reliability, and scalability of the Auth server, executing safe database migrations across a large fleet of Postgres instances, improving observability, collaborating with platform and infrastructure teams, and evolving Auth architecture for operational excellence and maintainability.
Requisitos
Required 4+ years of professional experience writing and shipping Go in production. Required hands-on experience building and operating services at significant scale. Required strong relational database experience with Postgres or MySQL, with Postgres as a bonus. Deep understanding of systems-level concerns including memory management, concurrency patterns, and compute resource optimization in Go. Experience with Kubernetes and AWS or comparable cloud platforms in production. Solid observability knowledge including metrics, distributed tracing, structured logging, and alerting with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry. Experience managing database schema migrations safely at scale. Familiarity with multi-tenant architecture patterns and operational challenges. Authentication domain experience or interest is a plus. Good technical writing skills for RFC-based development.
