Supabase is hiring a Product Security Engineer to strengthen security across its products, platform, and engineering workflows. The role works with software engineers, infrastructure teams, and technical leadership to reduce risk earlier in the development lifecycle and help Supabase ship securely by default without blocking developer speed or autonomy.
Strong experience in product security, application security, or security engineering. Comfortable working with cloud-native, developer tools, SaaS, platform, or infrastructure products. Clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences in written asynchronous environments. Ability to solve real-world developer problems, navigate ambiguity, and move quickly. Deep understanding of application security fundamentals including auth, session management, APIs, and secrets handling. Experience with vulnerability triage, bug bounty programs, responsible disclosure, or security incident response. Comfortable with potential security on-call rotation. Experience with or interest in Postgres, Kubernetes, or security guardrails.
