Data science role in Stone Tech focused on technically leading modeling and analysis projects from conception to production, defining and disseminating best practices for variable engineering, feature architecture and data structuring, generating strategic business insights and developing, implementing and validating machine learning models and tools such as scoring, propensity, churn and segmentation models.
Python and data science libraries, SQL and PySpark; strong statistics and machine learning foundation with ability to choose, defend and document approaches for business problems; practical experience developing predictive variables from structured and unstructured sources, including transactional and alternative data; experience with predictive modeling in high-scale and complex contexts including classification, regression, ranking or optimization; solid Databricks experience; excellent communication skills to discuss complex results and influence business and technology stakeholders.
