Serve as the first technical hire and full-stack technical partner at a pre-launch B2B SaaS startup modernizing supply-chain operations for consumer-goods manufacturers. Audit and own the codebase, ship features across Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, WebSockets, and Next.js, operate Railway infrastructure, establish engineering practices, and work directly with the founder.
5-6 years of full-stack engineering experience and strong system architecture knowledge; professional Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, WebSockets, and Next.js experience; strong SQL and PostgreSQL skills; relational database design and migrations; unit and integration testing; cloud deployment; 0-to-1 startup experience; founder mindset; proactive communication; and strong written and verbal English. AI and LLM knowledge is a plus.
USD 6,000-8,000 per month plus an equity grant, founding-level ownership over architecture, product, and team culture, continuous learning, and access to Sierra Studio's engineering community.
