Backend engineering role focused on distributed and scalable solutions that support data analysis and segmentation so customers can make better decisions. The team handles backend operations that make lead events quickly available for segmentation, with challenges involving low latency, consistency and high availability for large-volume data with access within up to 5 minutes.
Solid experience with Ruby on Rails and backend development; advanced knowledge of distributed systems and data streaming with messaging such as Kafka, Pub/Sub or similar; experience with analytical databases such as Elasticsearch, ClickHouse or similar and transactional databases such as SQL or NoSQL; unit and integration testing practice; experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. Differentials include observability tools such as Datadog, Sentry and Prometheus; platform, support or complex migration teams; Kubernetes; event-driven architecture; high-scalability and innovation projects.
