Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent real-world expertise building and operating production recommendation or ranking systems; 8+ years of software development experience with at least 3 years focused on recommender systems in production; deep experience with collaborative filtering, content-based filtering, hybrid models, and two-stage candidate generation and ranking architectures; expert-level Golang, Node.js, or Python; experience with high-throughput discovery, search, or recommendation systems; advanced knowledge of Postgres, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch/OpenSearch; system design experience at millions-of-users scale; A/B testing experience in marketplace or interference-prone environments.
