Plain Concepts is hiring a Senior Golang Engineer with expertise in event-driven architectures, distributed systems, and AI-assisted software engineering practices. The role focuses on high-performance backend engineering, Apache Kafka, resilient microservices at scale, architectural decisions, event versioning, idempotency, streaming patterns, backpressure handling, AI-assisted development workflows, and backend services and integrations for AI or LLM-powered systems.
5+ years of advanced Golang experience with deep understanding of concurrency, memory management, profiling, benchmarking, and idiomatic Go patterns. Expert hands-on Kafka experience. Solid distributed systems foundation including consistency, replication, fault tolerance, event-driven architecture, resiliency patterns, and backpressure handling. Strong microservices at scale, REST and gRPC API design, service-to-service communication, Docker, CI/CD, automated testing, cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure, monitoring, alerting, autoscaling, AI-powered development tools, AI-assisted engineering workflows, English communication, Brazil residency, and openness to a B2B model.
