OpenMined is hiring a QA Lead for its nonprofit mission to build the public network for the world's non-public data. The role is embedded with engineers and focuses on test design, architecture review for testability, building frameworks and tooling, defining quality standards, production-readiness criteria, CI/CD quality gates, and helping engineering teams deliver reliable quarterly goals.
5+ years of professional software engineering experience working as an engineering peer within squads. Python proficiency is required. TypeScript and Go are strongly preferred. Experience integrating testing frameworks from scratch in at least two ecosystems. Experience defining quality standards and production-readiness criteria for an engineering organization. Experience integrating CI/CD quality gates into engineering workflows in a way that drives adoption.
