Senior AI engineering role on Modus Create's Engineering Consulting team, focused on designing, architecting, implementing, and deploying generative AI solutions from proof of concept to production while working directly with clients and collaborating with cloud, DevOps, and front-end specialists.
4+ years of software engineering experience; proven track record delivering Generative AI solutions; hands-on experience deploying LLMs and SLMs in cloud and on-premises environments; comfort with prompt engineering, RAG, fine-tuning, and agentic architectures; Python proficiency; experience with LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or Google ADK; agent tooling and protocols such as MCP or function calling; evaluation and observability libraries; managed AI services such as Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, Rekognition, or equivalents; familiarity with TensorFlow or PyTorch is a plus; experience with AI coding assistants; solid experience with AWS or another major cloud provider; Terraform is a plus; Git, GitHub or GitLab; DevOps and CI/CD experience; Bash; SQL and NoSQL databases; ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences.
