Hands-on 3-month contract to own the development pipeline and make releases faster, safer, and less manual for a Django-based monolith supporting a real-time game platform, with focus on CI/CD, QA modernization, AI-assisted testing, deployment safety, and reduced build/test/deploy toil.
5+ years in DevOps, platform, release, or developer-experience engineering; proven release process automation; strong CI/CD expertise such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI; Terraform; Python/Django test automation; AWS; Docker and ECS; feature flags, blue/green or canary deploys, automated rollback; AI coding and testing tools; strong communication and independent contractor work. Nice to have agentic QA or AI-driven test generation, high-traffic gaming or real-time systems, Sentry or Datadog, and PostgreSQL-backed systems.
3-month remote contract for Latin America; hands-on ownership of release process modernization.
