Forager via Workable
Forager is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help evolve its workforce data platform by building robust web applications, APIs, data systems, customer-facing apps, large-scale data pipelines, search infrastructure, real-time enrichment APIs, bulk data feed delivery, Elasticsearch infrastructure, ETL pipelines, customer-facing developer experience surfaces, compliance, observability, and scalable backend services.
5+ years building and operating production web applications and APIs. Strong Python, Django, React, and TypeScript proficiency. Hands-on Elasticsearch at scale including schema design, query tuning, and cluster management. Production experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and async task systems such as Celery, RabbitMQ or equivalent. Track record building and operating reliable high-volume ETL pipelines. AWS experience including ECS, S3 and CloudWatch. CI/CD experience such as GitHub Actions. Production operations experience including observability, on-call and incident response. Strong written communication and documentation ownership. Required daily use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot or equivalent, agentic workflows, and judgment about AI use in production work. Nice to have: Snowflake, B2B data products, web crawling, data sourcing, large-scale ingestion, open source contributions, or public technical writing.
