The role includes writing code and tests, building prototypes, resolving issues, profiling bottlenecks, optimizing scalable distributed cloud systems, collaborating with product designers, participating in engineering workflows, and contributing frequent user-facing product improvements.
3+ years of backend or SaaS development experience; proficiency in Go or a similar language; ability to write maintainable backend code with clear abstractions; ability to translate requirements into functional software; regular communication with stakeholders, product managers, QA, and developers; collaboration with QA engineers; daily use of AI tools such as Claude or Copilot; comfort in a lean continuous-flow environment; ability to produce quality code, mentor junior team members, collaborate in a participatory team, iterate quickly, simplify complex problems, stay open to new ideas, and prioritize results. Cybersecurity or IT background is a bonus.
