Felix is building a financial ecosystem for Latin immigrants in the U.S., starting with AI-powered remittances through a WhatsApp chatbot. The Lead Data Scientist will lead user conversion and retention intelligence, architecting machine learning solutions that support core business KPIs. The role partners with Chat, Product, Engineering, Growth, and Product Management teams to improve and scale New User Conversion and Existing User Conversion optimization models, define experimentation roadmaps, apply NLP signals to chat interactions, develop features that measure influences on business KPIs, identify new ML use cases, and use Python, SQL, and dbt to maintain data hygiene and model performance.
Requisitos
Significant experience in ML modeling using Regression, Clustering, XGBoost, and CatBoost; strong technical background in NLP and Word Embeddings with HuggingFace applied to real-world business problems; mastery of SQL and BigQuery for large-scale datasets; hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker; familiarity with dbt or similar data transformation frameworks; full professional proficiency in English; exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to present complex technical findings to non-technical audiences; proactive go-getter attitude and deep interest in using data to drive product decisions and KPIs.
