Freelance Technical Interviewer role for experienced engineers and technical leaders who assess senior and lead engineering candidates. The role includes structured technical and behavioral interviews, evaluating engineering quality, communication, values alignment, problem solving, and documenting interview feedback using Empirical rubrics and coding challenges.
Senior or Lead Engineer with strong hands-on product development experience, mentoring or evaluation interest, clear and empathetic communication, fluent English, weekday availability for 1 to 1.5 hour interviews in LATAM or US Eastern working hours, and familiarity with technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Go, React, Next.js, Node.js, NestJS, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, REST, GraphQL, microservices, event-driven systems, and system design. Interviewing, hiring, teaching, mentoring, startup, or high-growth experience is a plus.
