Own the end-to-end architecture of a complex software product across data, services, integrations, infrastructure, security, reliability, and customer environments. This is a hands-on architect role involving C4 models, ADRs, production code on critical paths, design and PR reviews, reliability ownership, enterprise readiness, customer-facing architecture communication, and AI-augmented engineering practices.
10 or more years building production distributed systems, including at least 3 years in a Staff, Principal, or Architect role; ownership of architectural decisions end to end; C4 model and ADR experience; strong JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python fluency; deep AWS architecture across ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, VPC, ALB, PrivateLink, IAM, KMS, and Secrets Manager; Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, or Pulumi; CI/CD pipeline ownership with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CodePipeline, or equivalent; deep GitHub fluency; comfort with ambiguity and reliability pressure; C1 English. Preferred: production AI or LLM systems, third-party integrations, AWS professional or specialty certifications, and progressive delivery patterns.
