Experience designing and maintaining complex, large, or growing systems; ability to evaluate failure modes, bottlenecks, migrations, releases, and metrics; debugging and root cause analysis; proactive ownership; best practices and testing; backend systems and API design; ability to work in a stack including Ruby on Rails, React, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Redis.
