AgilityIO is a software development firm that designs and builds custom applications for startups and Fortune 500 companies. This full-time contractor role is based in Latin America and requires a Technical Project Manager with strong understanding of modern web and cloud technologies to oversee software development projects, bridge communication between developers and clients, and ensure successful delivery of technical solutions. The role may include occasional hands-on coding and involves coordinating with the development team in Vietnam during overlapping work hours, defining project scope and objectives, translating client needs into architecture and user stories, managing planning and risk, implementing Agile or Scrum processes, reporting metrics, and fostering transparent communication.
Requisitos
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in software development. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban and project management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, and Trello. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, manage stakeholders, work in client-facing roles, understand SDLC best practices, and collaborate in English. Technical familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, Swift, React.js, React Native, Redux, Flutter, Angular, UI/UX, HTML5, CSS3, Node.js, Python/Django, Java, Kotlin, Golang, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, GraphQL, REST APIs, Jest, Pytest, Docker, AWS, Azure, Infrastructure as Code, Auth0, OAuth, Plaid, Dwolla, and Firebase. Preferred: Azure cloud experience and familiarity with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
