AgilityIO is a software development firm that designs and builds custom applications for startups and Fortune 500 companies. This full-time contractor role is based in Latin America and focuses on driving architectural decisions, providing hands-on technical guidance, and mentoring engineers across distributed teams. The Technical Lead designs and delivers complex full-stack and cloud systems, provides technical leadership across projects, mentors through code reviews and pairing, aligns technical solutions with business goals, defines engineering standards and CI/CD practices, identifies technical risks, improves developer productivity, oversees reliability and observability, and acts as the escalation point for critical technical challenges.
Requisitos
7+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 2+ years in a leadership or technical lead role. Experience architecting scalable applications with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue. Proficiency in at least one additional language such as C# or Python. Strong AWS or Azure background with hands-on serverless, Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices experience. Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation. Strong CI/CD, DevOps, monitoring, and observability knowledge. Deep software engineering best practices in testing, security, performance optimization, and agile methodologies. Excellent English communication, leadership, distributed collaboration, and ability to balance coding with architectural oversight and mentoring. Preferred: AWS or Azure professional certification, distributed team leadership, high-availability or mission-critical systems, data-driven or real-time applications, large-scale integrations, and process improvement track record.
