AgilityIO is a software development firm that designs and builds custom applications for startups and Fortune 500 companies. This full-time contractor role is based in Latin America and is a client-facing Solutions Architect position focused on defining resilient architectures, mentoring developers, collaborating across sales and delivery, and ensuring solutions are technically sound, scalable, and cost-effective. The role includes discovery, estimation, cross-project technical guidance, direct client work, occasional hands-on contribution, and shaping how the Solutions Architect role is defined and scaled at AgilityIO.
Requisitos
7+ years of professional software development and architecture experience, including 2+ years in a lead or client-facing technical role. Proven experience designing scalable systems on AWS or Azure, including serverless, containers, Kubernetes, microservices, and event-driven systems. Strong JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and modern frontend framework expertise with React, Angular, or Vue. Proficiency in one additional language such as C# or Python. DevOps and Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation. Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring, and observability. Experience leading discovery, estimating scope, and collaborating on proposals or SOWs. Excellent English communication and stakeholder management. Hands-on ability to prototype, push code, and guide implementation. Preferred: AWS or Azure Solutions Architect Professional certification, mission-critical or real-time systems, cost modeling, SOC 2, ISO 27001, large-scale integrations, and distributed team leadership.
