AgilityIO is a software development firm that designs and builds custom applications for startups and Fortune 500 companies. This full-time contractor role is based in Latin America and focuses on driving quality, automation, and performance initiatives across critical applications and delivery pipelines. The engineer will build robust test automation frameworks, design scalable performance testing strategies, integrate quality practices into CI/CD workflows, improve Playwright automation stability, integrate K6 performance tests with Harness, deliver performance reporting, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with engineering teams on remediation.
Requisitos
8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Test Automation, Performance Engineering, or related software engineering roles. Strong Playwright expertise, including framework design, test automation, and API testing. Hands-on K6 performance testing experience. Experience integrating automated and performance testing into CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Harness. Strong SQL skills for data validation and backend testing. Solid software testing methodology, QA practice, and automation strategy knowledge. Agile development experience, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and excellent English communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred: performance testing as a release gate, distributed systems, microservices, cloud-native architectures, technical documentation, AWS, Azure, or GCP, observability tools such as Datadog, New Relic, Grafana, or CloudWatch, and presenting technical findings to senior leadership.
