Lead, architect, and elevate an engineering team solving complex data engineering problems. Drive technical vision, build scalable Python backend services across multi-cloud infrastructure, directly manage and mentor engineers, lead Agile delivery, partner with product managers, and participate in on-call support while maintaining Eastern Time working hours.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience; 3+ years managing, mentoring, or formally leading software engineers; 7+ years programming in Python; 5+ years with AWS or GCP, Terraform or infrastructure as code, and continuous integration/build tools; experience with system architecture, in-memory data processing, monitoring tools, Domain-Driven Design, third-party APIs, authentication and authorization, asynchronous flows, testing, SQL optimization, and Agile leadership; strong English communication. No visa sponsorship is provided.
